WDA 2009 General Assembly - Public Events

The 2009 World Dance Alliance-Americas General Assembly is a conference and dance festival bringing together experts and artists from across the US and over 15 countries. The Assembly's theme What Moves Us highlights the most basic component of dance movement in order to increase the inclusiveness of the art and associated disciplines. In this way, the Assembly hopes to emphasize intercultural exchange, highlight the rich and unique artistic contributions of dancers with disabilities, and encourage the involvement of the local Madison community.

The Assembly includes numerous concerts and classes which are open to the public, and with the exception of the Opening Night Concert, all of these events are also free. Please note that all listings are subject to change.
