Program

The Interarts and Technology (IATECH) program is a unique curriculum which provides training and aesthetic guidance for student artists whose creativity encompasses the world of technology. IATECH was conceived as a non-specialized multidisciplinary study in the arts which integrates the visual, sound, and movement arts. The four year program is designed to provide an interdisciplinary experience using computer animation, digital video, and sound technologies.

IATECH Curriculum
The four year interdisciplinary curriculum provides "hands-on" training and individual attention. In the 36 credit CORE the students are exposed to current aesthetic principles and concepts that demonstrate how technology may change the face of art as the twenty-first century approaches. There are 36 credits of liberal studies, 12 credits of aesthetic foundation courses, and flexibility in the selection of 24 credits in the visual and performing arts of dance, music, and theater.

Career Opportunities for IATECH Graduates Include:

  • audio/video production
  • graduate studies in the electronic arts
  • multimedia performance
  • computer entertainment industry
